Uzzell

Elizabeth Uzzell is excited to begin her third year of teaching at Carroll Magnet Middle School! She grew up in Raleigh, but attended high school and college in Boston, MA. After finishing graduate school with a Masters in Teaching Adolescents, Ms. Uzzell returned to the Triangle, where she found the perfect fit at Carroll--a school that aligns with her positive attitude, lifelong belief in student-centered classrooms, and independence through leadership based on Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
